This seems like a great deal, past frontpage deals have been 650 for the 5 series processor, with the 7 series for only 50 more (or less with open box in certain cases) it seems perfect for a entry level price with very respectable specs.

Had one and returned. No mux, usb 2.0 ports, no included bracket for 2nd hard drive.

Was helping an architect buddy who needed a workstation. He insisted on the XPS17 which gimps the graphics at 60w. But the same problem. Totally inadequate cooling on the Dells.

As I understand it, whereas HDDs used to be the bottleneck, it seems to now be thermals.
