the temptation is strong for me with this one....

Located on the east coast of South China Sea, 5-stars luxury TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An via Travelzoo have a 5 night stay for 2 people starting from $339 with daily breakfast, a welcome cocktail, a 1-hr massage per person and one-way airport transfers. This is a Travelzoo member (free to join) exclusive).

International airfare is not included in this deal. This resort is about and hour and a half from the nearest internatiional airport in Da Nang (DAD). When travelling internationally, always get up-to-date covid-19 travel restrictions as they change frequently. This include the stopover country.

Viet here..
HoiAn is a super tiny town, and a tourist trap, you will be bored after 2 days... most people stay in Danang where the beach and party and all the good food at. They usually make a day trip from Danang to Hoi An since its only 1 hr away. And while you stay in Danang, try to visit Bana Hill Theme park, pretty nice,

Definitely. So you only stay 5 days in Hoi An, but there are also Saigon, Hanoi, Halong Bay, Nha Trang, etc... It's cheaper to fly within the country, take the sleeper train, or other transportations.
5 nights is way too long to stay in Hoi An unless your only aim is the resort. I usually only stay 1 night.

Seems kinda high in price. The dollar goes pretty far in Vietnam.

Please ignore the review below, wrong property. I looked at the hotel pics and the Nam Hoi An I stayed in is now Nam Four Seasons, while this is Tui Blue Nam, beautiful but different.

I've stayed at the Nam, oh about about 10-12 years ago.

It is not in Hoi An, which is a bit of a backpacker trap - a beer was a 1000 dong if I recall correctly- as pointed out by others. The resort is 20-30min scooter ride from hoi an - rent one for the stay - and I remember riding past paddy fields, and feeling quite safe even past midnight hours. The town has a fabulous restaurant by the river, can't recall the name, but it had an outstanding prix fixe menu.

The 1-bed villas are absolutely stunning, some have private pools.

All in all, it was a memorable experience and an absolute steal at this price.

Is there a better month to go when humidity is lower?

I have friends who visited Vietnam and the first words come out of their mouth were "wow, IT IS HUMID there"
