HoiAn is a super tiny town, and a tourist trap, you will be bored after 2 days... most people stay in Danang where the beach and party and all the good food at. They usually make a day trip from Danang to Hoi An since its only 1 hr away. And while you stay in Danang, try to visit Bana Hill Theme park, pretty nice,

I've stayed at the Nam, oh about about 10-12 years ago.
It is not in Hoi An, which is a bit of a backpacker trap - a beer was a 1000 dong if I recall correctly- as pointed out by others. The resort is 20-30min scooter ride from hoi an - rent one for the stay - and I remember riding past paddy fields, and feeling quite safe even past midnight hours. The town has a fabulous restaurant by the river, can't recall the name, but it had an outstanding prix fixe menu.
The 1-bed villas are absolutely stunning, some have private pools.
All in all, it was a memorable experience and an absolute steal at this price.
