"The units in this event are being sold as "open box" condition. That means that they have been opened due to being a photo sample, a tested working customer return or having damaged packaging. Some non-essential items may be missing from the box. That is the reason for the reduced sale price and the reduced warranty."

If I've learned anything from woot is that you probably aren't getting what you see on the website.

Put open box in the title - this is not a good deal - Woot refurbished are nightmares and not worth the aggravation when you get a cracked burned in or bad screen - hard pass

Woot is terrible now. Their support is awful. Worst parts of legacy woot mixed with the worst parts of Amazon. Still trying to get a refund from them from a bricked "refurbished" phone they sold me, that wasn't actually refurbished at all. Neither was the replacement they sent.

Avoid refurbished woot stuff and woot in general if you want your money back from their shifty refurbs.

My experience is specific to my viewing, which is primarily streaming and movies. I've been quite disappointed with issues like weird unnatural movements (tru-motion turned off) I was waiting some time coming from a Plasma for the perfect replacement as it was quite old so waited for the next gen, the black which some people love to me is saturation that leaves no image definition, colors despite multiple modes are inconsistent depending on he content being viewed, i've had the most success with Cinema mode but will now give a final push to hire a professional to calibrate.

I researched quite a bit prior, and do believe those who love this tv are gamers, and feel its primary function is centered around gaming which I believe is valid but for movies there are better options.
