Right now on Eneba, you can purchase a 3-month Xbox Live Gold digital code for $5.71. This is a global code, meaning no VPN needed for use in the U.S. If you're a Game Pass Ultimate member, you can redeem for 50 days of Ultimate (I just did that with my account).

Nothing special is needed, after purchasing redeem here [microsoft.com]; It will automatically give you 3 months of Gold, or 50 days of Ultimate when you redeem. Again, no special steps needed.

The gist is you get 4 months per card if you allow recurring payments the pain is you have to do each card individually then turn off recurring and repeat
