If I were you, sounds like your account is new/expired, to get free months:

Redeem 3 mos, get a free month for enabling recurring billing. = 4
Disable recurring billing.
Redeem 3 mos, get a free month for enabling recurring billing. = 8
Disable recurring billing.

That's an extension not a conversion. You (almost) never want to extend, you want to let your Ultimate sub lapse then stack Gold (up to 36mo) and re-convert, it's almost always the better move. 3mo Gold = 50 days of Ultimate with an existing Ultimate sub vs 90 (or YMMV 120) days without.

Eneba is known to give duplicate codes to multiple people. I say this having bought a couple hundred codes from them in the past (7 day codes). Most of them worked without a problem but I have had well over 30 codes at this point not work due to already being redeemed. They will give you a refund for non-working codes but they will make you jump through various hoops for each and every code that you need refunded.

It looks like they charge a service fee for using PayPal. If I want to buy 2 of these, the service fee is $1.11 and the discount is $1.19, so a total of 8 cents off lol

Is there any way to get an extra month or whatever the equivalent is when redeeming these as GPU? I remember there being something with auto-renew but it's been a while since I did that.

Can't remember if that was only for Gold or it worked with GPU as well.

edit: tested it myself, there's no difference with recurring billing on or off when converting these to GPU.

Don't know if I did something wrong but after I redeemed it, Microsoft converted code for ultimate so I only got about 1.5 months added to my current GPU.

Yes - turn off auto renew before redeeming Live Gold. In the end, it'll tell you that if you turn it back on, you get an additional month for free. Rinse and repeat 9 times, get an additional 9 months free. So purchase 27 months worth of Live Gold and get a total of 36 months when it's all said and done. Then apply GPU and it'll convert.

Thanks mate. You are correct. My account is expired last year so I just bought 9 of them.
My question is:
I need to redeem each card, get a free month by enabling recurring billing and turn off right away.

Then do it over again right away or I need to wait the next day to add another card + enabling recurring billing and so on?

Next question when can I update to GPU?
