Surprised to read about users who are still unfamiliar with the RTIC brand. Obviously YETI is the Texas-based company that has become synonymous with categories like rotomolded coolers and vacuum insulated drinkware. RTIC began, as many in this space, as the other Texas company that began making cheaper knockoffs of YETI gear. The knockoffs were more than good enough to earn RTIC lawsuits [huntingwaterfalls.com], force a settlement payment from RTIC to YETI, and require RTIC to redesign affected products.

Unfortunately for some users, the image of these local Texas boys (YETI or RTIC) building stuff in the states ignores a lot of trips to places like the Philippines [inc.com] (none of which necessarily diminishes the products themselves, but doesn't always accommodate the expectations created by Texas companies).

A great example of the RTIC lineup for me has been the 40 oz tumbler. Bigger than what I can get from YETI and reasonably priced. About the only arguable downside is that the lid has some integral silicone that presumably makes it more convenient for some users but a stinky cleaning obligation for me (I use my RTIC tumblers with that part of the lid flap detached).

Good luck!

Where are your coolers made?
Like other major competitors, RTIC products are made in China in order to provide the best quality at the lowest price to you, the consumer. Just like many of the outdoor products you will buy at your favorite sporting goods store; overseas manufacturing is a cost effective way for retailers to provide an affordable product to its customers.

You won't find it. Ignore the troll. RTIC coolers are quality. It's funny that they mentioned YETI and a good portion of their coolers/products are not made in the USA.

RTIC does make a quality product. Have several before the prices increased.

unlike Engel, Orca and Yeti, rtic is made in china garbage
You don't know what you're talking about. I own an RTIC 65 and it's rock solid and holds ice very well. It's super comparable to Yeti. So much so in fact that Yeti sued RTIC. Not only that but not all Yeti stuff is made in the US anyway.

"Tundra coolers are manufactured in the USA at facilities located in Iowa and Wisconsin as well as at a facility located in the Philippines. Our Hopper coolers and Rambler drink ware are manufactured in China"

what's it matter what I own from rtic. if I see it's made in china and there's another made in USA option, I'm going to buy the latter

I own multiple yeti and orca products tho. much better quality and all made in the USA
So, please tell you also drive a Tesla. As it is the most American made vehicle you can purchase.

Quote from KCOB :
I have owned several of these products for many years. Their coolers are junk. The zippers on the soft sided lunch bags and backpack cooler all gave out in under nine months. When I purchased them, the warranty was six months, it has since been reduced to a few weeks. The hard sided large cooler is 18 lbs empty. Ice stays frozen for maybe eight hours, even when kept in the shade.
The cups are their best product but I will not buy any more. After years of use the paint is flaking off. It has gotten so bad that I've had to throw them all out.
These products are not a better quality for the money. They are not comparable with other brands such as yeti.

The China built MY has considerably better build quality compared to the Fremont built.
