Good deal. The one from best buy was 8bc53aa with 50M clicks durability and slightly heavier. This one is 8bc52aa with 20M clicks per spec. They are literally the same sizes with good reviews. Cant go wrong at this price if you need a wired mouse.

Edit: this is definitely NOT the same mouse, no adjustable weights on this one. IMO the BB deal is better for only $2.50 more.

It's not the same mouse, the BB one has adjustable weights, this one doesn't.

Tried to buy multiple times but kept going to $8.43 when paying through PayPal in the second popup after applying rewards, saying no special characters allowed. Too late. Now it is back to original price when added to cart.

Does this mouse have the option to change the scroll wheel from "free rolling" to "locked rolling." Sry, don't know what the technical term is for that.

Aside from the adjustable weights, the model offered at BB is rated at 50MM+ clicks, as someone noted, vs. 20MM+ clicks for the one offered at HP.com.
Whether the former is actually more durable (better components etc.) is something I would like to know.

Seems at least 2 people did not like the mouse and are returning it (per BB thread). Frown
