My 3year old twins absolutely love this set. We were given one as a gift and they've used the tools to repair everything from the TV, to my knee to the dog. Has everything you need for every day imaginary repairs!

I make a fine salary in tech and am having work done on my house. The plumber and electrician both made more than me at $100+/hr, and the tile guys blew me away at $200+/hr. You can make a hell of a career out of trades, and I'm definitely planning on encouraging my kids to consider the option more than my generation that was always told college or bust.

I say just wait two more years for the kids to get a little older and get them a real tool set. So that should put them about 5-6 yrs old. Get some scrap pieces and let them go to town building things. Be amazed how they get to help and actually learn some basic skills. (Obviously with adult supervision)
