From what I've heard, that may be the only way to get them to cancel. The reps are paid to keep you attached. I absolutely refuse to give them a credit card. If I ever did use them, it would be with one of their gift cards. I have Apple Music, so not really much of a point, though, and I mostly listen to audiobooks on my commute.

DON'T do what I did and cancel right away. I probably should've looked into it first but if you cancel right away you only get the one month free.
