Assuming new users only? It doesn't show as free for my account sadly.
My old expired subscription just says "start listening again for $14.99"
Nope worked for me and I'm using an old, old account.

Thanks. This is exactly what I was asking but some other responders were too uptight Big Grin
Honestly, it's not your fault - Audible makes it extremely confusing. Even the most expensive membership does NOT let you listen to whatever you want - you only get the 1 free credit per month to buy more recent books, which you can then listen to. Probably %99 of what most people would want to listen to - books written in the last 20 years - are not available at all without buying them for $10-$20 each, even with the "premium" membership.

For those who aren't able to sign up and only shows $14.95 per month just get on the chat with Amazon. You'll be transferred via phone call with Audible team and they will sign you up for the 90 day free trial. Worked that way for me and took me 10 minutes to complete

I don't know if this has been asked. I signed this up on June 27th. (I was a subscriber before, and canceled a couple of years ago.)
I thought all was well. However, when I checked in the account detail, I see only the following message in "Membership Detail":
Your next bill date is: 07-27-2022
or at the end of your free trial, if any.

So it only gives the next bill date in one month, and no where stating the 3 months free trial explicitly.
Is that normal, or this means I only got one month free trial?

That is not my experience.

Yeah it's normal, they don't show you the upcoming discount which it should. The trials or discounts work month to month, so to get all three months free you need to wait until August ~28 for the third month to have activated and then you can cancel.

I've always wondered if the authors get screwed with deals like this or if aubidle gives the author a reduced % or just eats the whole normal revenue split.
Former Amazon corporate employee here. They fully eat the revenue on these deals. The artists don't see any benefit. Not that it matters though since it's Amazon and people just care about convenience.

Thanks, I used to get Audible for free a lot and built up a big library of books on there. But, I haven't seen free trials or when I have they haven't worked for me in a long time. This worked.
