I've been looking for the 55" and noticed it doesn't really get any good sales and isn't even stocked on costco and some other online retailers. Anyone have insight on this? Curious.

check out bestbuy and Amazon. They have it in stock right now.

Yes I saw, thank you for your suggestion. I just am hoping to find a deal like above, extra warranty and some kind of additional credit included (GC, streaming). Greedy I guess but this is SD after all :-)

I think initially these prices were only until July 4th. They extended it to the 11th. I'm trying to get the 65 but I think I waited too long and don't see the $150 shop card anymore.

Is there a g series for the 48" I really want a picture frame type screen. I was looking at Samsung frame but if the OLED prices are dropping like this, it's hard to pick a frame over a G.

The G series does not come in the 48" form factor. G1 doesn't have the 83" size either (G2 does).

QD OLED is coming...
It's already here, reviews are out, and it's not much of a difference.

I just bought the Gigabyte FO48U that uses the same LG OLED panel for $799. Perhaps I should have gotten this.

From what I read the lg is better. Hardware unbox rates it really well.

Have used this as a gaming monitor for my PC for a year now and have loved it. Highly recommended for gaming now that it has VRR and Gsync compatability built in.
