Haha what? I've had my stainless steel series 4 for over three years now. The sapphire crystal screen is literally perfect. I'm talking 6000 lumen work light shining on it, and can't find a single fault on it perfect. I have worn the watch while working on our cars, while working on my rental property (aerial lift for painting, running electrical, re-doing my roof). I've smacked it against door handles, and countless other things. Screen is perfect. PLUS, you can polish the traditional stainless steel case yourself. Can't polish the other two stainless steel colors though, because the coatings are vapor deposited.

Snagged my Stainless S4 from Best Buy for ~$400 in 2019. Will never buy an aluminum watch after this experience with the stainless steel. I won't argue justification for a specific dollar value increase for stainless steel over aluminum. It is a fact however that sapphire crystal is more expensive and harder to work with, and I would be surprised if stainless steel was not more expensive than aluminum to source and work with. For me well worth the price for a watch that I can wear for 3 to 4+ years that has a flawless screen after all that time.

I also wear it 22 hours a day, and the battery still has 83% of the original capacity remaining.

Totally worth it. These have sapphire crystal screens and basically are scratch proof.

I'm switching from Samsung to Apple. New to all this. Anyone that can help me decide which to buy. 41mm or 44 mm, I'm a female so don't know if the 44 would look to big on my wrist. Can you really tell the difference on both sizes? Also if I buy and then the price goes even lower can I return and buy for lower price?

Great deal, but can't see myself buying one without knowing what apple has in store for watch 8, which some say will be a noticeable upgrade in battery life, announcement is only 2-3 months away. I would rather wait, since I would prolly keep the watch for 3+ years so it makes sense to get the latest.

Fantastic deal. I got my stainless series 5 at a similar price several months after the 6 came out. I would definitely upgrade at this price but my 5 is going strong and I can't see what the 7 would offer me that the 5 doesn't do. Battery is still all-day, and while the steel is a little scuffed, the screen is without a scratch.

I'd never go back to aluminum after experiencing the stainless.

New design. The square designed that was suppost to be release last year. But apple watch are not like phones. Buy one and stick to it for 3-4 years. Basically apart from design different they do all the same.

Well worth. No brainer at 500ish. If I don't have my current aluminum, I would definitely buy this. Longevity or look, you get it from Stainless steel. I bought my aluminum few months ago and now my watch has so many scratches.

If you are female and have small/medium hand, you would want 41mm. But if you prefer bigger screen, you can definitely go for 44mm.
