A few previous purchasers claimed they received a brand new unit but YMMV.

Length : 12.99"/ 330 mm
Height*: 6.29" / 160 mm
Width : 2.36" / 60 mm
edit (that's internal size, the actual box is 168 mm x 374 mm x 230 mm)

this is almost as big as big as a smaller ITX case like H1 for the two out of three dimensions.
Height:405 mm / 15.9 inches
Width:196 mm / 7.7 inches
Depth:196 mm / 7.7 inches

obviously if you need to play game on laptop that has TB3/4 ports that doesn't have a proper GPU, this maybe your best choice, but i feel that use case might not be all that large?

also, potential buyers should be aware that this is TB3 box that will have a lower performance for the installed graphic card. on a 3080, the performance is about 20% less. so you pretty much getting 3070 performance in this enclosure.

Not sure if you caught it but those are the inner lengths. I've seen tons of people fit 3090s and 6900 xts with no issues.

It won't fit oversized cards like the ASRock 6900 Formula which is just over 13 inches.

you are correct. the actual box is
168 mm x 374 mm x 230 mm

which make it really close to the size of ITX box, and if you gonna put 6900 or 3090s, why would you want to put in this box and get 20% performance hit?

One good reason is you have a laptop with an older GPU. I have a new yoga with a fairly fast 12th gen CPU with integrated graphics. If I want to dock it and play some games on my TV I can easily do so with this box.
