For whatever reason, pretty much all 4K monitors 43" or larger use a BGR subpixel layout instead of RGB which results in the blurry text. I also believe that this is only an issue for Windows, as I use this monitor on a Mac and don't see any blurriness.
If you want a large 4K monitor, I'd recommend the 48" Oled C1 which is currently on sale for ~$800.
But if you want 43", and don't want to spend $1600, there's a relatively harmless fix for the blurry text if you do encounter it: mount the monitor to an arm, rotate the display setting to 180 degrees, and turn the monitor upside down. I know this sounds like a joke, but it actually works according to other people that have experienced the blurry text issue lol.
Yes it will accept the 4k 120hz signal via HDMI 2.1 for PS5. However keep in mind that ps5 typically does 4k60hz, 4k30hz with RT and 1080p 120hz. I can't think if any non indie or small game that does 4k 120hz on the PS5.
All good! Don't get me wrong though, this is a great deal for this class of monitor but I would advise this more for a PC. For a PS5 I think a 4k120hz TV would be better and bigger around this price point. Like the Hisense U8G or the TCL R646
It's 604 now. Best price I've ever seen was $599, but that was with a $100 manufacturer rebate. I have this monitor, it's fantastic for gaming...colors are bold and vibrant. Text looks perfectly fine to me, but I'm not coding on it.
I'd probably pay $800 and get the 48inch OLED if I had the room for it.
Right now I am using a 40inch 4k tv and a 27inch gigabyte IPS 1440p display. They both have the same pixel density, but in order to have that much real estate I needed to move it back. I run 125% scaling in windows. At that scaling, I might as well go to 48 4k.
If this is your only monitor, and you are limited on space, 43inch 4k is probably a great size.
Spending $650 on a 43inch va panel vs $800 on a 48inch OLED... It might be better for some people.

I see a lot of reviews mentioning blurry text. Is this going to be a good monitor for programming work? Can anyone that owns this monitor please chime in?

Idk if it's because I haven't had an amazing top of the line monitor before, but this monitor is sharp for my use on Mac.. text on vscode is sharp and 144hz is nice

I code on mine a bit and I don't notice blurry text.
It's big enough that I don't feel like I'm making good use of all the real estate. I could sit further away, but then it could be argued that I should have just bought a smaller monitor, so I refuse!
Great for Tarkov and hobby work, but hasn't become my WFH monitor. I keep hoping I'll see a deal on one of those 40" 5kx2k curved monitors, but so far they've only gone up in price
Also I couldn't find a cheap desk mount for it. I have it on an undersized monoprice mount but it sags enough to scrape my keyboard off the desk when turn the screen left or right.

I thought I read that rotating 180 degrees disabled the VRR features in windows? Not anything to worry about while coding anyway. Maybe they'll have fixed that in windows 11 🤷 ♂️

I've had both. I paid around $1k for this when it launched and if I'd never tried the 48inch OLED I would have stuck with the VA panel. It's that good in terms of response time, color and most of all BRIGHTNESS. This thing is an absolute light cannon, so if you need that more than the perfect blacks and better picture quality of the OLED, then it's a great deal at $600. I play with controller on PC so I sit a little further back, thus, the 48 was a big selling point (big but not comically big like trying to use a 55 inch OLED as a PC monitor).
Only drawback I found on on the Aorus was the uniformity. it was really bad in a dark room. Again, if you don't play in a dark or dimly lit room, you'd never notice.

The VA monitored is probably MUCH better for those who mostly use their monitor for work. Regular OLED screens can suffer from burn in if you have Word documents, Excel sheets or other static materials up on your monitor for hours on end. Also monitors of this size and larger probability require you to sit about 3 feet back —and while that is easy if you are gaming, it is nearly impossible for work unless you have a CEO-sized, super desk.

I bought it a month or so ago at Best Buy for $599.
