An awesome deal! I have this compressor, and it is sweet! This price is better than the last 13 years according to the ccc price tracker on Amazon.

Ugh! Trying to convince myself NOT to buy it (as a homeowner with a few DIY projects here and there), but it's difficult to resist!!!

I am in the exact same boat. This is larger than what I want, not something I need right now, but can't resist a solid, reputable model and a 12-year all-time low price. I can't pass it up.

Need to ship to work, pick it up, and sneak it into the garage so the missus doesn't know.... something tells me that's pretty commonplace here on SD. laugh out loud

Just a heads up, this is not powerful enough to operate a HVLP paint sprayer but will work great for pneumatic tools

Trying to decide weather to keep the Ridgid OF45200SS i got at a similar price the other day, or cancel and purchase this one. The Ridgid has better specs and lifetime service agreement, but i like Makita brand better overall.

Trying to compare this to my old 2.5 gallon Kobalt that died.
It was listed as 125 PSI with 0.46 Air Delivery SCFM @ 100PSI (CFM) (seems low??)

This Makita is listed as 130 PSI with:
Performance (40 PSI) : 4.8 CFM
Performance (90 PSI) : 4.2 CFM

Does this mean that even at 90 PSI it has like 10x the CFM as my old one?

Also my old one was only 2 gallon, this is 4.2. Should that mean when I use it, it should last twice as long before it has to recharge?

(I use this *mostly* as a compressed air blower to clean electronics).

The ridgid has better specs, better warranty with the LSA, but Makita is a great company.

This thing is not that small and it's loud. I don't know…. It might be easier to hide a mistress in the garage then this one Smilie

If this Makita is loud, sturdy and wet, then "she" will be a welcome addition to my home. Peace

I disagree. I use mine all the time with a cheapy Harbor Freight purple HVLP sprayer. It cycles, but it keeps up.

This compressor actually has decent CFM for a $240 compressor.
