For the ones who didn't stack a bunch of PS Plus subscription before they switched over to the new tier system:
If you were on PS Plus and are now under PS Plus "Essential", Sony is giving you the option to upgrade to PS Plus "Extra" or "Premium" for a flat fee of $100/$150 no matter how many years of "Essential" subscription you have left.
So what you want to do if you are interested in getting into "Extra" or "Premium" for cheap is buy a couple 12 months Playstation Plus Essential for $45 after coupon 10PAYPAL (selecting PP as payment. One time use but it look like they go by IP address...I was able to buy a couple using different devices on different networks. Buy like 2x12months with the coupon then another 2x12 months with a device off Wi-Fi as apparently the cap for the coupon is $108 thanks @dopeyman06 for the tip! ) and then upgrade to Playstation Plus Extra for a $100 flat fee (or Premium for $150) no matter how many years of Essential subscription you have remaining.
Do NOT buy the old PS Plus cards as Sony disabled the option to stack the subscriptions on those so they are only for one year, first time subscribers.

You had PS Plus that was converted to PS Plus "Essential" under the new PS Plus Subscription 3 Tiers system. You can add 12 months of PS Plus Essential for $45 from the link above (instead of $59).
Now Sony is letting you upgrade your PS Plus "Essential" subscription to "Extra" or "Premium" tier for a $100/$150 flat fee (which otherwise would cost you $40/$60 extra a year) no matter how many years of "Essential" subscription you have left . So stack as many years of PS Plus "Essential" as you can and the cheaper it will be to get the "Extra" or "Premium" Tiers (the break even point is at around 2 years, anything after that makes the tier upgrade cheaper and cheaper)

I am paying 34.5 a year average for the next 13 years of ps premium.
The 10PAYPAL code won't work for anything over $108. So I purchased 2 years via my computer. And another 2 years with my iPhone with the wifi disabled.
Were you able to stack all 4 years on your account?

bwahahah. I lucked out. and people are even speculating that MAYBE crunchy roll may be added one day to the highest tier.
I used a new email, new payment method, new IP (without VPN). I did email verification on their site as well as phone verification. Despite all this, they still declined.

I'm considering. My new "essential" expires in 331 days. In PS it says to go to "premium" would only cost $54 to upgrade for the remainder. BUT what this deal is saying is buy more "essential" years and stack them FIRST. Then go pay PS to migrate to Premium. Does it really give Premium for all the years I stack first? Also will it still be $54 or should I expect that to increase to the max $100?? Considering adding 4 years and trying to make sure I don't screw this up. Typically don't stack the ps subscription much
