For the ones who didn't stack a bunch of PS Plus subscription before they switched over to the new tier system:

If you were on PS Plus and are now under PS Plus "Essential", Sony is giving you the option to upgrade to PS Plus "Extra" or "Premium" for a flat fee of $100/$150 no matter how many years of "Essential" subscription you have left.

So what you want to do if you are interested in getting into "Extra" or "Premium" for cheap is buy a couple 12 months Playstation Plus Essential for $45 after coupon 10PAYPAL (selecting PP as payment. One time use but it look like they go by IP address...I was able to buy a couple using different devices on different networks. Buy like 2x12months with the coupon then another 2x12 months with a device off Wi-Fi as apparently the cap for the coupon is $108 thanks @dopeyman06 for the tip! ) and then upgrade to Playstation Plus Extra for a $100 flat fee (or Premium for $150) no matter how many years of Essential subscription you have remaining.

Do NOT buy the old PS Plus cards as Sony disabled the option to stack the subscriptions on those so they are only for one year, first time subscribers.

(I bought subscriptions until 12.2028 then upgraded to "Extra" see pic below)

OK let me try to explain again:

You had PS Plus that was converted to PS Plus "Essential" under the new PS Plus Subscription 3 Tiers system. You can add 12 months of PS Plus Essential for $45 from the link above (instead of $59).

Now Sony is letting you upgrade your PS Plus "Essential" subscription to "Extra" or "Premium" tier for a $100/$150 flat fee (which otherwise would cost you $40/$60 extra a year) no matter how many years of "Essential" subscription you have left . So stack as many years of PS Plus "Essential" as you can and the cheaper it will be to get the "Extra" or "Premium" Tiers (the break even point is at around 2 years, anything after that makes the tier upgrade cheaper and cheaper)
You can stack membership for any amount of years (not sure if there is a limit). Instead of paying $100+ per year with the new subscription model you can just pay 45 per year and then convert the membership with $100. Example you buy 10 years at $45 for $450 and upgrade for $100 totals $550. If you pay $100 at original price you saved $450
I'm confused

If I let my PS Plus Premium run out(expires July 1st), can I then stack and will the flat fee be eligible for my account?

Im done with sony... (i still have ps1 to ps5) most of the AAA titles are available on pc and i just cant stand their system anymore. I hardly ever played the freebies. Any thoughts on why i should keep my ps5? Any upcoming exclusives?
Most people who has one has their reason(s) for wanting to keep one. If you have trouble thinking of reasons to keep yours, you may be better off selling it to someone who's been trying to get one. Win-win for you and the buyer. Besides you still have your PC.

actually , some exclusives including God of War Ragnarok is coming on both ps4 and ps5 ( think about sales sony has more than 100mil ps4 sold vs 15 mil ps5 sold ) , and yes most if not all will come to PC one way or another, so basically most people can play GOWR day one without ps5 .
and yes my ps5 is a dust collector , sadly .

Mine plays Netflix pretty well.

Took me a while but I get it. For anyone who already has the premium service, buying 1 of these cards will extend your premium service for 6 months. Buying 2 will give you a year. 1 year of premium service normally costs $120. Buying 2 of these is $90 so you save $30.

Wow ok that was a nightmare. Bought 5 years from CDkeys no problem but then when I tried to upgrade on PSN my bank froze my card. I responded to the fraud text and it said my card could be used again, then it locked and I had to call them, they said they reset it but it didn't work on PSN. Went back to CDKeys to buy store credit ($143.97 for $150) and that failed too. Called bank again had card reset again and it still won't work on PSN but I got it to work on CDKeys... So like 30 minutes wasted with my bank saved me $6 on the upgrade..

So yourself Telling me i can get the top tier Service like i was receiving before? If so then why do tiers, just leave it alone. Also ive been trying to get a PS5 for about 9 month. All of sudden I'm able to get one around the time this new Tier system comes out. I think I'm canceling my order

All y'all better read The Bible and believe In God's Word (Christ) or you'll be playin' The Tribulation game for real. On that note, I just picked up a PS5 on Sony Direct's exclusive invitation event a couple hours ago. 😂

if you were a PS Now subscriber who played PC streaming, you now pay $120/yr instead of $60

you are well aware of this, yet you choose not to share that.
please stop misleading people.

FYI...; seems slightly suspect but hours after doing this deal and paying Eneba through paypal, I'm getting emails saying there have been recent failed login attempts to my paypal account.

What are you talking about.

Who the heck has ps now and not ps plus?

Imo people are weird if they didn't have ps plus, then it's still same price

Because whoever has ps now usually has ps plus on top.

Everyone I know has ps plus
No one really bought ps now. I did a month of it personally I didn't like it for the cost
