I have this screw gun, bought it refurbished a couple years ago. Could never get it to reliably and consistently put drywall screws at the right depth. It seems like whatever I set it too, it either intermittently goes to shallow or too deep and is inconsistent from screw to screw. Anyone else have this issue or have any thoughts as to how theirs works? I'm wondering if something is wrong with mine? I used a Hitachi corded model years ago when I did construction and it worked really well.

I'm not pro, but I drywalled my entire house. Ended up getting a corded Milwaukee screw gun that worked great.
While researching things, I found comments that recommended not getting a cordless gun in general since it would have varying torque as the battery depleted. Made some sense, so I went corded. But I don't really know how cordless guns can exist if this truly is a major factor. So just an idea ...
This seems like a great deal here. Two tools that don't often get sold super cheap like drills and drivers.
