I put in a new KitchenAid fridge last August that uses these filters. Since then, I've gone through about 6 filters because they are down to a slow trickle after just a few weeks. I had a Whirlpool repair tech come out and check out the fridge, I had a plumber look at my supply lines, and I had the city come out and test my water. Everything checks out and everything points to the EveryDrop filter as the problem. Then I put in a cheap Amazon Basics sediment filter inline before the fridge and a new EveryDrop filter is still putting out a slow trickle after a couple weeks. My plan was to eliminate the EveryDrop filter and find a quality inline filter that is NSF 57 certified (this is an old home with a lead lateral from the street), but at this price, I'll bite.

These never worked on my whirlpool fridge ever. Not sure why. I have two of these lying around . Everytime I change my filter no water is dispensed .
