You couldn't be more wrong. I own over 600 4k Discs and 95% of them come with a digital code that redeems in 4k.
Use 4ksheet.com to make sure you redeem them in the right place for 4k.
Edit; looking at The Greatest Showman it seems like it will redeem UHD but not transfer to MA in 4k

I'm calling bullshit on that one.
I prefer using real numbers when engaging in mindless Internet banter, so here are mine:

I own 280 UHD discs. Exactly 26 titles of the 280 I own on UHD disc have a digital copy in HD rather than UHD.

That's 90.7% UHD.

You know how many I checked on 4ksheet.com before redeeming to ensure I maximized my UHD digital copies?

0.0%

A quick search of 4ksheet.com (a great resource, BTW) indicates I could have redeemed another 3-4 in 4k bringing it to over 92%.

As my collection grows to 600 discs I'm quite confident that the number will be much closer to 95%, since many that are not UHD are early 4k titles such as Deadpool, The Martian, John Wick and Ex Machina.

The List:
Serenity
The Hunger Games Mockingjay Pt 2.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri
Ferdinand
Maze Runner Death Cure
Alien Covenant
Underworld Blood Wars
Trolls
Hidden Figures
Kingsman: The Golden Circle
Hell or High Water
Logan
Star Trek Beyond
Peanuts Holiday Collection
Star Trek
Maze Runner Scorch Trials
Ex Machina
Sicario
John Wick
X-Men Apolcalypse
Independence Day
Deadpool
The Dark Knight Rises
E.T.
The Martian
The Divergent Series: Insurgent

If you own over 600 4K discs, that's means you've basically bought half of all the titles that have ever been released in 4K. You're not very discerning when it comes to movies.

If I see 4 movies that I really like in 2022, I'll consider it a good year.

Many of these redeem in 4k via itunes anyway, at least 80% of them off the top of my head. Some are even dual redeem

I paid MSRP $35 for the Alita 4K steelbook, and it was worth every penny for the contents of the disc alone. At $9, Alita is a hell of a steal and will make you appreciate your big expensive TV even more.

Definitelytrollin. There, fixed your screen name.

First, blu-ray.com lists over 2,119 UHDs to-date, so you're just spouting misinformation. Hell, there's 756 with Dolby Vision alone.

Second, what you find enjoyable to watch may differ dramatically from what others enjoy. Personally, I find most best-picture Oscar winners and damn near anything that makes people weepy to be garbage. Does that mean they're not films others might want to see or own?

Lastly, some people prefer to spend their money on collecting physical media and don't go to the big screen to see movies because: A) Their home theaters arguably sound and look better, B) they don't like to deal with idiots and their cell phones, kids, smelly bastards, etc., and C) It can cost over $100 to see a single flick for a family of four.

Frankly, for the cost of a single theater trip, I can wait until the price drops to under $20, purchase 4-5 more movies at average UHD cost, own them forever, drink a few beers while I watch, and pause it to take a piss if I need to.

Point simply being, 600 discs sounds like a lot, but if you choose to spend your money on physical media, you can easily rack up 30-40 disc purchases for the same money as someone that goes to the theater 4-5 times in a year.

You're absolutely correct. Had I been more judicious with my digital code redemption practices I could have easily hit the 95% mark as Enzo stated.

I was just counting each title as ONE movie, since most of those 2119 come in various versions. Like with the original Jurassic Park, I counted as One movie, even though there's Original, Limited Edition, Target Exclusive, 20th Anniversary Edition, 20th Ann Steelbook plus the bundles.

So you averaged buying 100 UHD Blu rays every year for the last 6 years. It's your $12,000, you can spend it however you want.

All I was saying was like out the Top 20 movies at the box office right now, there's maybe 2 that I would Thumbs Up and one worth owning. So I couldn't even find 2 movies each week to buy, like you do.

That was Enzo, not me. I own 280 UHD discs, as I previously mentioned. I also average about to $15/disc, so closer to $4200 over about 5 years. But yes, I have the money and that's how I choose to spend it. Some guys spend it at the theater, some spend it on golf (some waaaay more on golf), and some on hookers and coke. Some people even spend $60 on a video game, but hey, it's not my place to judge.

Really, though, that wasn't my point. I was merely illustrating that your condescension toward others choosing to collect UHDs on a slickdeals thread regarding UHD deals was, well, trolling. There's usually one on every thread.

And that's totally ok - you do you. I just find the decision to jump on a slickdeals UHD thread and opine about someone's choice to collect UHDs a bit odd.
