Very tempting. Anyone tried this particular brand before? I've only seen their phone stands advertised on here.

This was about $1 cheaper last week. (EDIT: after tax, same deal as last week) I am happy with my purchase. It charges quicker than my previous Samsung fast charger from 5yr ago, using USB-A. Although I can't comment on longevity, it seems well built and hopefully should last a long while. Tempted to buy another for futureproofing since I'm sure I'll need USB-C one day.

They have a facebook group where they have people buy their products, ask them to review the products, then refund the items price via venmo and paypal.
Wow, interesting.

Heat dissipation is likely to be in issue with prolonged use and will likely negatively affect the product life regardless of continuous use time.

Say what you want about Apple, they don't typically build products to be larger and heavier than absolutely necessary. This is about the size of a typical 5W-1A charger not the 30W-6A spec listed.

Will it work when you get it? Likely yes. Will you get your money's worth of use out of it? I'm betting no.

Thumbs down and my suggestion is caveat emptor.
To be fair, GaN chargers are more efficient (create less heat), which is why manufacturers can push higher wattages in smaller form factors than traditional chargers. No experience with this specific charger though.

Says "Supports simultaneous charging of 2 devices, but does NOT support simultaneous super-fast charging." I understand that to mean that if you plug in 2 devices, in parallel, they do not charge at 30W each. Right?

Doesn't prolonged quick charging reduce the lifespan of the battery? vs slow-charging?

This a highly speculative take that, aside from including a completely extraneous comparison to Apple products, does not appear to possess the most cursory understanding of GaN technology.

GaN chargers are diminutive by design. Heat dissipation in GaN chargers is very low, owing to its voltage efficiency that loses significantly less energy to heat than non-GaN chargers.

This is not really that good of a deal. You can get a dual USB A and USB C 65w charger for less than this. The only thing this has going for it is PPS.
