This feels very expensive for some reason. I got the TP-Link Wifi 6E for $350 (not on sale). Granted it only comes with 3 but that's $117 per AP.

This is only Wifi 6 (not 6E) but comes with 4 at $138 per AP.

Either i'm missing something or this is inferior tech for more $$$ and that's the sale price to boot.

Inferior tech? I bet you don't even own a device that can accept 6e 🤣🤣🤣

I don't have any 6E devices but how does that change the fact that it's inferior tech? It literally is the previous generation and when 6E devices saturate the market.

You don't even own a device that is wifi 6 capable. You will never use the tech that's in your router... That's like buying an 8k tv

Use the product comparison tool on tp-link.com to see why this might be a better fit for certain homes with numerous devices.

I don't use my router as a router. I use them as APs and have a Mac Mini acting as an OPNsense box for my routing Smilie

While this is wifi 6, this system is vastly more powerful when compared to the wifi 6E version you are referencing, by that I mean it can almost double the bandwidth through wireless to proper clients, even though it does not have wifi 6E it has better antennas and other components that make it more powerful.

The AX5700 and X90 was designed to be a flagship device, the wifi 6E system is supposed to be a medium end product.

This deal is slightly cheaper than buying two of the 2 packs of the AX5700.
