Anyone under age 40: "What's a cassette?"

Me: *Picard facepalm*

Anyone under age 40: "What's a Picard?"

Me: "I don't want to live on this planet anymore."

Picard is from Star Trek, never really watched.. but it's the face palm meme that's being referenced

Think you mean under 30. I'm 30 and definitely used cassettes/vhs when I was a kid, but old enough for me to remember. Don't know who/what Picard is exactly, but guessing it has something to do with Star Trek since I know there's a ST movie or TV series with that as its title.

Forget that. Star Trek: Next Generation is the show that ran in the late 80s and 90s with some movies continuing until 2000s. Great show, of course looks dated today, movies might seem better for new viewers.

Are these total garbage or a decent cheap option for kids?

I'm under 40 and I know what both are. So...ok boomer.

Coulda fooled me. Might as well be a boomer with a mindset like that. Mind you, participation awards were made up by your generation, so pretty fitting I guess?

It was all in jest, kiddo. You could pass up your .25 oz serving of cruelty-free vegan kale delivered via GrubDash and buy a sense of humor instead...but gloomers gotta gloom, right?

Reviews seem decent, and many say they run small...so, probably good for kids.

The current generation of hipsters are opting for new releases of "bands you've never heard of" on cassettes.
