I'd love to see a comparison of older phones in this price range used as webcams vs this one. I've been using a note 9 and the quality is so much better than any webcam I've used.

I use Droidcam (Android/Windows). Pretty sure it was 5 bucks when I got it.

Phone cameras have been better for a while. If you really wanted to take the next step a mirrorless or DSLR camera. The main benefit of a webcam is it is plug and play

I've been looking to get a 4K Webcam for a while without the sky-high COVID pricing. Since I forsee ALL work going forwarding becoming a hybrid WFH/Office model I'll need a good camera, so people can see my ugly face better ðŸĪŠ 🙃 🙂!

This is why using an old phone is key. Mine never leaves it's mount, and functions exactly how a webcam would.

I have this camera and it is excellent. This is also a good price for it. I paid this about a year ago from an outstanding (at the time) Lenovo deal.

Lol I think he was referring to mainly the mirrorless and dslr cameras, I could be wrong. lol but it is a lot less steps to using a webcam than a phone and a dslr camera

With this camera, I can broadcast my video stream at 4K but if the person at the end, their monitor is less than 4k, for example, full HD @ 1920x1080, what benefit getting this camera will serve?

It remains horrifying, ridiculous, and embarrassing that this remains the best webcam on the market, with nearly no competition. I could not live with less; I paid about this price a year ago, but in plain packaging. Notably, you need a true USB 3.0 connection, and also need to use the included cable or rare equivalent, otherwise the signal drops out quite a lot (as noted in many reviews). The white balance is a little wonky too: expect to use their free LogiTune software to literally tune the color back to reality.
