I'd say try this in store without the filler (I have years worth of toothpaste), but WG is now often pricing things higher in store than online.

I don't know if it's my app but for the past few months I've gotten all the way to the end where my total amount shows and it never discounts the coupons. The first time I've noticed it I made the purchase but had to cancel it after i noticed that i was paying full price for them.

I have noticed rewards often disappear on the screen just before you submit the order (doesn't matter if you are paying with rewards or not).
It took me a couple of tries to figure out that in some cases you have to go to ship to get rewards.
Can't tell in this case but rewards again disappeared in this case for shampoo so I didn't order. What is frustrating is that the rewards show on initial screens. I tried to look at explanation for rewards if they were for store order only or shipping only but couldn't tell why they disappeared. Others have reported that they contact CSR and get rewards added but too much trouble.

In Orange County, CA it's almost impossible to get Walgreen deals because I always get Out of Stock notices. Requires me to drive 10 miles at least to a store that has it and turns out to be not worth it.
