Roku Streaming Stick questions

Hi,
Have a few questions about the Roku streaming sticks. Looking to just buy a streaming stick for traveling and streaming and using Airplay 2 from iphones.
What do you recommend? Goal is to stream in 4k and use airplay with 4k videos on any TV with HDMI.
Streaming stick new model?
Streaming stick+ 2017 or new model?
Something else?
I was considering buying the reconditioned streaming stick+ for $37 reconditioned. Not sure the difference between new and old model and just the plain streaming stick. The remote headset port?
