This Crossbow is being sold with a known defect. DO NOT BUY. Please read reviews on the "String Locking Mechanism" and you will see that numerous complaints about this product. When addressing issue with seller "Sportsman's Outfitters", my calls and e-mails have gone unanswered.

This looks like a great deal is MSRP is seriously in that ballpark but by the sounds of the above its not, if I wasn't planning on buying a new rifle soon and saving money for that I would probably pick this up for fun.

They are indeed a Poe Lang bow. Built on the same stock as Xpedition, Killer Instinct, and some of the Carbon Express models.

Interesting. I bought a Carbon Express (Covert Tyrant [amazon.com], and it even came with a cranking cocker) a couple of years ago when Academy had them on clearance ($499 down to $149), and I've enjoyed using it very much. It's a lot stronger than the Parker Bushwacker that I had before it.

Don't jump to conclusions and stupid assumptions. Anyone using this will be having fun outdoors instead of scrolling scrolling through the deals.

Also, based on the past deals for similar items, I do not recall a single hands on experience comment.
