not to be a party pooper, but this is not just canola oil, its cut with water. maybe thats why its so cheap. and it uses diglycerides as the emulsifier. if you're diabetic, you might not want this as diglycerides can cause insulin resistance.

if you want to spray your own canola oil, just get a food safe spray bottle and fill your own canola oil. that way youre not using a spray oil that is cut with water

I like to use the Avocado oil spray from trader Joe's. Are there any other "healthier" alternatives that don't use vegetables oils for grilling?

Just an FYI, they don't pick the goods immediately so lots of time the super sale items are out of stock by the time you go to pick them up

As pr1nyc1 correctly stated, Avocado oil has a higher "smoke point" than olive oil - extra virgin or otherwise - MUCH better for grilling. https://health.usnews.com/wellnes...difference

Shrinkflation, aka companies passing higher costs on to their customers by decreasing the size of their product so they can keep the same price point and hope nobody notices the change.

It's a gimmick. Not a bad deal, but there's nothing about this that makes it 'formulated' to work any better on a hot grill. The second the temp passing the upper 400 range, any type of oil will just combust away.
The grilling version has a different ingredient list than regular Pam according to their website.

Regular Pam is a mixture of Canola, Coconut, and Palm Oils with soy lecthin and an anti-foaming agent. Grilling version is only Canola Oil with water and Phosphated Mono- and Diglycerides.

I don't know if there is a noticeable difference between the two in practice, but they are not the same liquid in two different cans.
