This brushless version is $39 on DTO? Why don't you ever post that deal then?
Just so you know, DTO factory blemished is not blemished at all. It is brand new in box with a blemished sticker slapped on the box (not the item). They have to call it blemished so that they can sell it at a discount since HD has exclusive rights to selling it "new". This is pretty common knowledge on SD. Bubba didn't drop anything.
Great if you own a boat and need to clean bird crap off. Works well for general car washing. Works great in cold weather if you need to do something but your outside faucets are shut off for winter.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago. Great deal, especially considering all of the added accessories. Just know it has it's place and it's not going to replace a pressure washer. Also, it comes with a carrying bag and a regular 4ah battery, not the HP shown on the product page.

We use it for cleaning deck chairs, the siding and windows on our house, and the kids' outdoor toys. Pretty much anything that doesn't need the higher force of a legit pressure washer.
Decent deal. I have the original 320psi version and loved it, my neighbor loved it to and by the time he went to purchase this 600psi was available and I'll say I love this version more. I'm for a great deal on the tool-only version of this so I can upgrade.
Is there any difference between this 18-volt model and the 40-volt version besides the battery?
I was wondering the same and it doesn't seem that way, so I went with the 18v. I was initially looking for the 40v, but this deal is the best out there on this item right now.

What's it good for?
Cleaning window screens, gutters, truck beds, and lawn equipment. I haven't taken it camping/beaching yet, but I can imagine it'd come in clutch when you need to clean something but don't have access to a pressurized water source. It won't replace a pressure washer but it's a good supplement and the portability is great.
With the attachment that let you draw from any water source, you can even use it as a transfer pump in a pinch. The hose has an inline filter to prevent damage to the tool.

Appreciate the info on the battery. I was just about to pull the plug and purchase this kit but now I am back to pondering. I already have the standard non brushless tool but this has quite a bit more power.

It's another one of the multiple HP tools that doesn't have the extra battery contacts to take advantage the extra power anyway.

No, except for the side handle on the 40V. Probably due to the extra weight from the battery.
