If they are hydraulic they will have no thin silver wire by the caliper. There will also be a small reservoir next to the lever.
ok, now i am thinking yes it is hydraulic, after comparing to my diamondback hybrid.

Seems the brake is Tektro. I am a total beginner, so not sure if it is hydraulic or not?

I purchased 18. I took down the seat tube and don't see any numbers that are close to the ones in your list.

Hope it helps.
This video clearly shows the difference between hydraulic and mechanical disc brakes: https://youtu.be/UXyna_NdPTk

If you don't mind taking a pic of the brake calipers near the discs, I could quickly tell.

NICE!!! Congrats to everyone who bought this bike. Probably the best new MTB deal since pandemic, maybe even pre-pandemic.

As for your frame size, it is not on the seat post. This video explains it best: https://youtu.be/O-wqQLbcens

I just can't get the front wheel aligned. It doesn't seem like the disc is properly aligning to the caliper. It also seems like their is no room for it to align so I can install the long bolt.

Now we just need them to ship for everyone outside of CA! Hopefully they don't cancel.

I've contacted CS multiple times and each time they are just as confused. I am so salty that I ordered early and haven't even gotten it shipped.

"It shows they are backordered" Yeah, but they said they actually have them in the warehouse.. "Oh, yep, but looks like there are some in stock, that's weird" Yeah, the previous CS said they'd contact the warehouse about getting my ordered filled... "Oh yeah, it looks like it should ship out here soon, just give the site 24 hours to update"

Then nothing.

So I call back and go through it all again. Today the rep said the warehouse probably just gets overwhelmed with orders so they put it on "backorder" to give them time to process them. I was told again that I should get mine late next week. I'll probably call again on the 5th, lol.

I got it, in between the pads there was a tab and I thought it was part of the brake assembly. So stupid and then I pulled on it 😂😂. Thanks for the help.

Heads up I am in IL. Arrived this AM and got tracking yesterday. Wish I ordered one more for my dad. This is a nice bike for the price.

Awesome! Save that tab. Whenever you need to remove the wheels (front or rear) to work on your bike, you should insert that tab back in. You don't want to accidentally squeeze the brake levers when you have the wheels off without that tab, or you'll need to use a flat head screwdriver to carefully spread the brake pads apart.

I have had that happen with my bike's hydraulic brakes. Didn't know its true for mechanical spring loaded ones as well.

Edit: from prior comments it seems this on got hudraulic as well.
