Stem [amazon.com]
Bar [amazon.com]
Grips [amazon.com]
Pedals [amazon.com]

Be sure to watch YT for installations. Common installation mistakes for above items include over-tightening and tightening wrong direction.

Start with these 2 videos and be patient:

How to Adjust a Front Derailleur [youtu.be]
How to Adjust a Rear Derailleur [youtu.be]

One main reason MTB/gravel riders upgrade to 1x (one by) drivetrain is to simplify the derailleur adjustments. This bike can be upgraded to 1x later, but would require upgrading the rear hub/wheel. There's nothing wrong with 3x drivetrain on this bike. In my opinion, 1x is more of a quality-of-life upgrade, others might tell you 1x also saves weight.

If you ever plan on taking this bike to your local trails, it definitely sounds too big for you. Top tube should not be touching your junk when standing flatfooted regardless of type of bike, but especially on a mountain bike. Arms should be bent, not straight in normally riding position. Don't just take my word for it. Please do yourself a favor and search any YT videos related to MTB. Pay attention to the riders and their bikes. See their body positions on their bikes, arm and leg bends, junk clearance from top tube...etc. I bet you won't find a single video where the rider is in a similar position as you are on your 20" Framed bike, probably for very good reasons. But at the end of the day, it's your money and your bike. Ride what you feel is best for you and just enjoy it.

EDIT: For anyone interested in adding a dropper seatpost later. those usually go from 100mm travel and up. 100mm is about 4 inches. If you don't have at least 4+" of your seat post above the seat tube, a dropper upgrade most likely won't do you any good except waste money.
thanks! the 20" bike will hopefully be sold tomorrow to a friend tomorrow. I'll keep the 18" Famed one, the hurley / avalance teton bike "L" frame 5'4"-5'10" is too big for my wife. The electric bike is pretty fun but do like the feel of the Framed one better.

another update after speaking with a CSR. Previously my order was allocated to a midwest warehouse where the one in stock was damaged/ returned unit not taken out of the inventory system. CSR stated there are 8 18" in stock on east coast, she allocated oder to that warehouse. So hopefully itll be picked and shipped.

received a tracking number for the 18" order, but its out of midwest and not east coast. This doesn't seem promising

hopefully last update besides reviews and thoughts on this bike. I finally received my 18" bike order after a few phone calls. If you're looking for a smaller frame they might have a few in stock but you need to order over the phone.

The front wheel light deflector was broken but other than that it was NEW in box.

I tried listing mine up for sale for $200 because I was like eh, I probably wont ride it. But after 5 people emailed in an hour, including one guy that I know always flips bikes, decided to keep. It will be my shiny black rarely used bike that sits in the garage pretty lol. All seriousness, looking at the bike prices again even on Walmart REI etc, nothing comes close still to this price point.

Agreed its a solid bike at this price point. I've been wanting to purchase a long term bike and did more research on bikes within the last few weeks than I ever have. This will be 95% street and some light trails. Its just the various components that make bikes more expensive. The components on the framed bike are budget/entry level and hence the price point. Did purchase a water bottle holder and kickstand for this.

If I wasn't able to purchase this in an 18" frame I would've gone with a trek marlin 6/7 at 15% off and that would be my long term bike. I still may purchase a marlin knowing its over kill for me but price seems good .

Haha...maybe try riding it. The more you ride it, the more you get used to it, the better the bike feels, the more fit you become, the more you want to ride it....it's a cascading effect. I don't think the bicycle market in general has quite recovered from the world-wide pandemic shortages just yet. Prices are still high compared to pre-pandemic when huge discounts could often be had. Now you're lucky to get measly 10-15% which was considered everyday prices before all this crazy happened. This Framed bike price was a huge anomaly. I don't think I've seen a better new bike deal than this not only since the pandemic started, but probably for at least the past 5 years. Hopefully the market returns to normal soon.

Awesome! About time you got squared away. Most MTB enthusiasts would yank out all the reflectors and dork disc as first order of business, including myself. I left them on this bike for my friend though.

Yes it took some patience and a few calls. The deflector issue was a $20 refund on the order , so after all is done Im in at $170 . Applause I'll probably pull the rear deflector off. The electric teton bike sold for a $200 profit and the 20" was about $50.

Ordered the following
new seat
water bottle holder
kickstand
