Old brushed tools with old low amp batteries. Much better just to buy the subcompact brushless set from Direct Tools Outlet on the next sale which will probably be this weekend.

I originally bought this kit about 5 years ago and when the regular drill chuck messed up they sent me the brushless drill as a replacement . Remember Ridgid drills and batteries come with a lifetime warranty

This happened to mine too. Unfortunately it was the first one I bought like 10 years ago and didn't sign up for LSA, but was easy to fix. Just took the chuck apart, cleaned and regreased everything and works like knew again.

Yes.. sent out two emails. You may want to sign back up. People had trailers and uhauls. I went early this morning and they still had a lot left

This is a solid deal. Free shipping, ease of home depot returns, lsa, 2 two amp batteries (at $10 an amp worth $40), a cheap bit set, etc. In total the two lsa-eligible deals for under $50 (valuing the batteries at $10 per amp and the bits at a few bucks).

Obviously a lot of people want brushless and for hard use that makes sense. But this is still a solid deal on what is essentially a couple of diy/homeowner tools that will be better quality than a similar priced set from Ryobi (which itself is fine quality for that), and have the lsa.

These brushled tools are their "new" line, they only came out at the end of 2019. They've been on the market for about 2.5 years.

How much is it usually and is it worth waiting for that for someone who uses a drill occasionally? I have a black and decker that for the most part gets the job done. I just really want to try to get my drill into the same system as some of my other tools.

Their factory blemished are a good buy also. The set I bought didn't look blemished whatsoever

outstanding deal. I paid 200 for my set in Oct. 2013. The driver is one of the best tools I've ever had as a home owner. I have never had to utilize the lifetime repair, replace warranty.
