Indeed. I picked mine up at 1pm and there were 20+.i didn't want to post the store for I know that someone will eventually scalp them for a profit. I'm glad to see that you got one.

Kaitlyn called her manager to ask if she could price match the other stores price. The answer was "No", they couldn't match another store.
Kaitlyn, bless her sweet heart, didn't take no for an answer. She said "Let me check something " and left.
I waited around for 5-10 minutes and she came back with 2 GoPros and a price labeler to change the price.
She had tracked down the person that was responsible for marking the price changes and that person was able to confirm that the GoPro was due for a price change but they hadn't been able to make the change yet.
Kaitlyn had the new price already queued up in her scanner and I was able to get the close out price even though it wasn't set up in the store's system yet.
If I could have kissed her I would have. She went above and beyond for me.

I used to work in Riverton, lived in South Jordan. Kind of miss now. Nice folks. Glad you had such s nice experience. Here in olympia Wa they would never go that far for a customer and every ymmv deal never works sadly.

Mission Valley Target in San Diego has 3 in stock, I asked the clerk to ring it up and she said (very rudely) "the hero 8 bundles are not on clearance" and I asked if she can just scan it anyways and she just literally refused.

Got two. Target employee was imposing 1 per person rule. Got one myself, and girlfriend got the other. There was this crabby guy arguing and trying to buy the whole stock. The employee didn't budge.

Separate question - buy this or wait for deal on GoPro 10? Already have an older GoPro 6.

My son has a GoPro 6 and the image stabilization is better but we are not professionals, just a couple of people who occasionaly film trips or his drum performances (he plays in several bands). Based on what I read quite some time ago, it seems like each generation of GoPro has strengths and weaknesses, For some it's battery life, for others heat issues. No product is perfect, but you have to determine your pricepoint and temper it with the shortcomings and performance of each generation of GoPro and open your wallet.

I didn't price match at Kearny Mesa. I bought it there for the full price. Then I re-purchased at a different target store where they didn't have any in stock, but had a yellow 70% clearance tag where gopros are supposed to be displayed.
