So many photos of the front and none of the rear
I'm sure its not much to look at. Wink

Is there something about ports on the rear you want to look at or similar?

12700 + poor airflow case = thermal throttling
Ventroo V5 cooler will fit any case. That is a 120mm fan with 5 heatpipes. It can tame this chip.

Add in some noctua grey fans and you're good to go

#1 It cannot fit any case, I have four systems with V5 coolers
#2 It doesn't matter how good your CPU air cooler is if the case air temperature stays hot

I hope the OS is on the SSD as I do not think you can clone the OS with the home version

play anything at decent settings 1080p 30fps
Low end and 1080 @ 30fps at decent settings??? You could do that with a 1030.

You're not nearly giving the 3060 enough credit. Runs plenty of games at 1440 @ 60+ fps on Ultra and just turn down quality a little for more demanding games or if you want a higher refresh rate.

No surprise that there's always complainers. A fully built PC with 12th gen i7 + RTX-3060 + 16GB RAM + 512GB NvME for $800; and for some reason they're expecting it to come equipped with DDR5 RAM which is a super premium commodity at the moment. At the ~$800 price, this is a smoking deal.

This is a good price.

If you tried to build this yourself you'd be in for over $950 (w/o the OS) just picking the cheapest stuff avaialbe with thesse specs.
Building it yourself, you'd be able to upgrade it later. With this, most of the parts are proprietary (PSU, motherboard, case, etc). The only upgradeable parts in this config is RAM. You can't even upgrade the GPU down the line, as you'd need a higher wattage PSU, and it's a proprietary form factor PSU. It sucks, since this PC is already pretty unbalanced, with the CPU in a higher class than the GPU. They do this so the PCs end up in landfills, instead of being upgraded.

Good deal. This is a fair price for a budget gaming pc. Low end RTX card and should play anything at decent settings 1080p 30fps without any issues though. Likely not the best components but for this price good deal. Honestly this would be a good home pc.

I understand what you're trying to say, but the reality is that every PC regardless of pre-built or not will end up in a landfill. Whether that be the parts inside or the case itself. My first pre-built I bought over 10 years ago and still have it. This might have proprietary parts but if someone is willing to use it with the expectations that the upgradeability is basically non existent then they should be fine.

If you someone wants to DIY their systems and build it to suit and have an upgrade path then I'd say this system is maybe not the best option.

Most people never upgrde systems at all so a system like this is just fine in that respect.

I cited the prices to build it just to give an idea of the value of buying this system. i.e. if I could built it myself for less then this would not be a great deal.
