I just take a picture of the coupon bar code on phone and they scan same at register... makes it easier for them. I can't imagine manually entering that code each time for 3 or 4 days.

Yea, but if your spouse, you have to pay them double for the provided service.
Meanwhile, at least HF did a recall... I don't remember any recalls from Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, etc., for the same jack stand.
However, they will give you whichever is the better deal, off the original price.
That's sad. One near me can be crazy busy, especially during sales. One time when they had a 25% off coupon the line wrapped almost around the entire store!

I've had good and bad experiences with HF. I've had stuff like the big rotary sander that lasted for years, and I put it through a lot of sanding on two old houses with wood siding, but I went through 3 or 4 back pack sprayers before I gave up and threw them in the garbage. One had a hole in the wand right out of the box which was obviously a manufactures defect that was ignored. The others leaked like a sieve sending Round-Up down my back. I went to Home Depot and bought one for $30 and it's lasted for years. I pretty much stick to hand tools from HF these days. We have Northern Tool in town now and it seems to have better quality stuff, but higher prices to match.
Meanwhile my Hyper Tough 18V drill that I bought on clearance for only $5 (after seeing a deal post on it here) is going on year 4 of problem-free use. And get this...it's RED!
But it has incorrect letters on it!
