In case you didn't know, the 55" and 65" A80J have semi matte screens while the 77" A80J has a glossy finish like most OLEDs. It appears that the A80K series followed the same trend.

CONS
OLEDs are prone to permanent burn-in.
Doesn't get bright enough to fight intense glare.

You get 65" XR X90CJ at Costco with 7years warranty

https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...1562/21563 [rtings.com]
1. X90J doesnt hold a candle to this TV or any OLED.

2. Brightness is not all that matters - color reproduction and saturation are key as well

3. If you have huge windows facing the TV then you may have an issue with glare but I have yet to see any of my buddies have issues with this and they all have OLEDs for their main TV

Is brightness an issue with this TV? I really wish Costco sold the 55, because of their warranty and return policy. I see they already have the A80k 65" on their website.
The 55 was on Costco's website briefly yesterday for $1299 and then taken down. Maybe it'll be back for a 4th of July special?

Really? I've never seen the 55 OLED on their site.

Yeah Costco has never carried the 55 inch. Maybe you're thinking the 65.

Good tv.. mine did have 1 flaw. It use to click and turn on sometimes for no reason. Still sometimes clicks but doesn't turn on anymore. Excellent for games at 120hz or even 60hz on ps5. I paid 1500 in black Friday so this is a killer deal I'd say.

The attached Costco page shows the 55" @ $999.99, but when you click on the item it shows $1299.99. Like mentioned above... may be getting ready for a July 4th deal...

That link doesn't work for me. Do they advertise it in a sale catalog?

Looks like Walmart is OOS but was still available at Amazon.
FYI Crutchfield also has this TV at $998 until July 3rd!

I was really wanting the Sony OLED over LG. I got it from Costco since it has a 3-year warranty.

Yes, I got one of these and although a refurb, it looks and performs like new. It was my first experience with Serendipity and except for a minor foulup on delivery (not contacted and it sat in a warehouse for a week}, it was an outstanding deal. Actually, the price for me was $499 and it was the 65" version.
Wrong model. That was the X90J LED model, not this OLED type

Talk me into buying this. I have a bar room tv about to go up on a wall exactly opposite a giant floor to ceiling double bay window. This is the size I need. Been looking at the 2022 Samsung frame just because it's matte and will handle glare better. Will I be sorry if I get this instead? I know the frame is overpriced.

The link now shows a price of $999.. That's an awesome price for this tv.. I'm even thinking about it and I have absolutely no need for another tv..
