This is not universally true. It's totally dependent upon location and the individual station. Near my home, there are a 76, Chevron, and Mobil station adjacent and across from one another. On my last fill-up (with this offer), Exxon was 10¢ more than Chevron. I didn't see what the 76 price was.
2. amex keep filling 100 junk offers, need to spend 20 min to click add to junk in order ro hopefully get one of the good ones next day, to find more new junk. any easy way to delete all offers in one shot, instead of add one at a time?
AMEX has stiffed me on 2 offers I clearly qualified for, even by their own admission, but they still refuse to honor the offers. They claim they never received "information from the merchant" and keep pointing at this sentence from T&C:
If American Express does not receive information that identifies your purchase as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit.
Never had an issue with Chase. BofA or Citi offers. AMEX is the worst. I have this offer on 2 AMEX cards but will not use it, AMEX won't honor it anyway

if u have some amex card, find the one you normally Not use (lower MR or cashback %)
then add the offers u won't need over there as many as possible, then good offers will show up all cards later.
Becuase it looks like Amex has limit when offer queue over un-added offers, if u didn't push to added area, over 100 or more won't show up
I did this since I used not to find Amex offer ppl discussed, after I did so. It shown up many good ones. The reason I suggest you add to the card u nomally not use since it won't mess up other cards area and easily to find them when u want to redeem
