Some of the Amazon reviews are from idiots. The guy who couldn't get the piezo ignitor to work probably bent the prong, which is easy to do and easy to fix.
The guy who melted his stove clearly has a propane adapter still visible in the photos. These are not meant to burn pure propane. That was 100% user error.
There are way more reviews on the Monoprice page, and they are generally good. I've left several reviews of MP products and I've never known them to censor bad reviews.
I have been using this for the past 2 years. Great unit, no complaints. It boils water quickly and store's all components including small fuel canister within the vessel.
I have use a few times now. Works great.

I've used this on 3 multi-day kayak trips. It boils very fast. It's well thought. Not one complaint.
I have the 1.8L version(bought in 2020). I like the size for personal use. This is 1L, so a bit smaller.
This is a review from five years ago when it cost "about $30". The design has definitely changed. There is now a pot stabilizer on the bottom (the orange tripod) but it no longer comes with the pot accessory. Might be able to find on used, dunno if it still fits. It also looks like the handle has changed, it no longer locks on top but spreads to the side.
Seems decent enough.
edit: it is strange because the video on the Amazon website clearly shows it with the pot adapter but the pictures on the Monoprice website clearly do not show the pot adapter as being included. Maybe that's the "sale". They lowered the price by removing the adapter. Shrinkflation at work.
edit 2:
The price for this on the Monoprice e-bay store is $38.50. So save $5 by buying directly from them.

I haven't had any major issues with MP stuff, but when they sold tents their 2P tent didn't have a decent way to connect the rainfly to the corners. I rigged up a fix and posted it as part of my review, which was promptly removed. Another buyer had the same issue and asked a question about it. My answer and the question were both removed within a day or so. They're a good company, but not above censoring to keep their shine.

I have this. My friends all have jetboils. Side by side, this one doesn't boil as quickly. There's inconsistent flame, and I've tried 3 different canisters and the inconsistency remains. It's fine, just don't expect jetboil quality at this price.
I have used this several times the past two weeks. Takes between 7 to 10 minutes to boil when full (depending on the altitude I've use it at). I beleive Jetboil is less than two minutes.

I don't recommend.
