Growing up we always used Eagle Claw snelled bait holder hooks. Good price, but size 2 is limiting.

Snelling your own hook is super easy. Costs so much less. You can get 20 hooks for a buck and do it yourself

Bigger number is smaller. 2 is much bigger than a 6 for example

2 is big for freshwater bobber fishing for example.. usually use 4's
