Samsung 'panel' not sure they necessarily make the monitor itself tho arguably the panel makes up 80% of a monitors end product

Reviews claim coolermaster actually makes the monitor, with a samsung sva panel like mojo stated with just under 500 nits peak brightness (490~ ymmv).
These were originally listed at $700 for the 34 and I believe $500 for the 27.

Decent for gaming, oversaturated calibration out of the box, manual calibration will be required if you're doing color sensitive creator work etc.

Lots of reviews online for these and people say they feel and look similar to Pixios especially the OSD, but I have never used a Pixio monitor.

A 165-240hz IPS panel will in most cases look "better", but this will look good for gaming, decent VA monitor. I'd like to make note in case anyone cares, ports are as follows:

2 HDMI but only one is 2.0 the other is 1.4
Both DP are 1.4

If I didn't have my alienware I'd probably take a shot at this monitor myself.

I personally won't buy a 2K screen bigger than 27 inch. Anything greater than 27" needs a 4K resolution. I have a 32" inch 2K monitor and you can clearly see the breaks and pixels when you are close enough to the screen.

That's not really a big issue for gaming though.

I agree. Mine is a gaming monitor Dell 32" 165Hz and it won't bother me at all while gaming. But I use it for school and work as well. And it does annoy me a lot. It all depends on the person using it and their perspective. Just pointing it out!

27" 2560x1440 and 34" 3440x1440 have the same PPI

Ooh I did not see the horizontal resolution of this monitor. 3440 is really good. Mine is 32" 2560 x 1440 and I assumed this was the same resolution as well. My bad!
