This brand was a previous FP deal for 2x 6' Lightning cables for $4.50, so if you're looking for 10' cables, this is an even better deal.

QA Note: $5.49 price appears to be valid for prime members only, $6.99 w/o prime membership

I just ordered and received a 3 pack of my usual 6ft cables (different brand) for $8.99, so I was a bit annoyed to see this deal. I was going to return the ones I just got until I read some of the 1-star reviews for this one. There are a few reports of melted or smoking connectors, so it's a no-go for me. I really don't expect cables to be MFi certified at these prices (despite what's claimed), but I draw the line at fire hazard. I'm keeping my other ones.
I bought these about 1.5 year ago. Haven't had one fail.

How did people like them the last time? Do all cable reviews have a few claiming it's a fire hazard? And that they are garbage…?

I'm not buying any more cords with lightning. If the AirPods Pro 2 come with USB C, then so should the iPhone 14. And we won't need any other cables.

My iPad 7th gen, has issues detecting charging cable unless I bend the cord at a certain angle. I've tried cleaning out lightening port, used new cables, etc and still same issue
