Yes, grab them and check at the register. If they ring up full price, tell cashier you thought they were cheaper & return them to shelf. This is also a reminder to never call lol The websites & apps aren't always up to date on clearance pricing

With the YMMV, should I just go to the store and have them scan the price?

Take it to the register. I myself have found Brickseek to be reliable with Lowe's. One thing to note though is that if you have someone just check the price make sure they are using their "zebra" and not a desktop computer as they may show different pricing.

edit- when you mentioned "$169.99" you may have moved to one of their other 4 items in freestanding shelves.

Yup brickseek said this price but the lowes app said only 10% off. Got to the store and then the app said the deal price. Didn't have them on display but found some up top on a pallet so make sure to look up top if you can't find them.

My local store had 8, brickseek was accurate. Unfortunately 6 of them were on the top shelf buried under other boxes. Thanks OP been needing some decent shelves for garage storage.
