For me this Tv replaced a CX and I think its a better set
The better Tv tuner alone in this TV is worth $100 IMO

Some C1's have the evo panel, but unless you see the box, no way to tell.
Id do the G1...there is a certain place that doesnt charge tax that I bet you can get the G1 cheaper for....the place that shall not be named on slickdeals

For me the G1 is a better set than the CX...I had them side by side in the same room and the G1 was brighter and had more color saturation
As for the internal tuner..if you are only streaming it would make no difference

But when I first bought my G1 ..I had it side by side with the outgoing CX ..and just with a pair of rabbit ears I was amazed at what the next gen tuner can do

We wound up going to an Apple TV and HomePod setup instead
