Not sure about the sound since I've never tried the 3rd gen AirPods, However. The feature that stands out is the pro version has ANC (active noise canceling) vs the 3rd gen that does not.

Also, for me personally. The pro fit has was better fit for me (the tips can be changed to a bigger or smaller size if needed) But each ear is different. What fits me may not fit you. So of course YMMV 🫠

I don't think AirPods on version.com/business category. this AirPods Pro is on VZW consumer page, so it's may not qualify for that amex biz offer

It works on the normal Verizon site. Last fall there was a $75 off $75 that I used for a HomePod Mini on the main Verizon site. With this current credit I spent $160 on various things not on the business site and already received the credit.
