If you want all metal strainer, Hario sells teapots around $15. Best $15 ever spent I would say.
The glasses are super fragile, that's for sure, but I enjoy them.
Btw, a set of 8 glasses coming in two sizes is available at Costco (at least, in my area) for about $15. They sell for quite a bit more elsewhere. I've been enjoying them for my coffee, so picked up a second set just yesterday.

I love this glass for hot drinks, using it daily for years. [I would] Never put Pavina glasses in the dishwasher [next to other glassware]... I broke my first one that way. Now is a great time to get a backup!

Wow. The Costco 8 pc. set is $43 online. 8 oz and 15 oz glasses. I haven't seen it at my local store, but $15 would be slick.
I've had a dozen Pavina 12oz glasses for the better part of a decade now, so think I'll pick up the strainer to fit them. I don't drink tea except when I'm sick, but I would like to change that. As for the glasses, hand wash and treat them gently and they last. I wonder if they've made any changes at all to these in the last 5 years?

If you just want better quality glass for drinking tea, Hario also makes Hario glass tea cup. It's like 2 for 11 at Amazon and they're designed for tea. Around 5oz I guess

A few folks are saying how delicate these are, but my wife and I use 2-4 of them every day, put them in the dishwasher, use in microwave, all have been fine. They are really not that fragile, and I wouldn't bother hand washing.
The 8oz Bodum makes for an incredible stemless martinis glass.
Been using for years and had no problem in the dishwasher. That said, never put it under an automatic ice dispenser. While I knew that, a guest didn't and now we're down a glass.
