I would think it's too much weight for the first extension (connected to the base) unless you're only going straight up
And oddly, when I checked out the reviews on MaxTool, the reviews were about the string trimmer.
Anyone looked at the dewalt 60v string trimmers to compare as well?
Best way to sell the attachment that comes with this, as l need an edger and the string trimmer ideally.

Yes, this is the Quik-Lok system. It's very easy to swap attachments. I use a bike rack on the back of my Deere to hold everything - the "base", string trimmer, hedge trimmer, and pole saw - and I can take care of whatever I need wherever I am in the yard. It's so handy!!
A lot of people I know use their old car oil.
Most use these bigger batteries in outdoor power equipment and not the regular power tools.
Think chain saws, blowers, miter saws, etc. Anything that needs a LOT of juice to run for more than 15 to 30 minutes, and tools that don't require Popeye arms to control.
The main difference is what is inside these batteries. 18.650, 90Wh in the 5.0 vs 21700, 144Wh in the HO8.0
Which is why I posted an earlier comment about this tool being heavy enough that it needs the sling/harness if you're doing more than 3 to 4 cuts. They should have included the extension with the strap. Of course, add a few bucks to the price, or keep it the same for a good deal?
