VPN into Argentina youtube and you can have it for under $1.50 a month. Once you start the sub, you can go back to US or whatever native servers you use with no difference in service.

Ive had YT Red/Premium since 2018 and it ABSOLUTELY changes how you use the service. Without the annoying ads, you are more comfortable "grazing" on videos which you normally would not watch. Esp true on the the phone where we have exponentially lower attention span.

I just went the VPN way and it WORKS !!

I used Turkey as is cheapest with the inflation ravaging the country there 70% year over year

HERE ARE THE STEPS:

• Make new Gmail Account, can put fake name, mine is "Catch Not"

• Turn on VNP with location Turkey

• Open Icognito Page in BROWSER

• Navigate to YouTube.com

• Sign in with the new email adress

• Click on the menu of the left, find "YouTube Premium" button

• Monthly is $16.99TRY - about $1 a month, or you can sub yearly and get a discount - $169TRY which is about $10 a year

• Click "Try For Free" button

• Will ask for Credit Card - add your regular credit card, or WHATEVER you want to pay with

• I used my every day credit card, and entered my actual name there (or it wont go thru obviously)

• Enter your Expiration Date and 3 digit code from the back of the card

• DO NOT ENTER BILLING ADRESS !!

• It did NOT ask me to put a residential adress on anywhere either.

• Just press pay, and enjoy YouTube Premium for less than $1 a month, and trust me, with the inflation will only get CHEAPER from now on!

Do all accounts under family have to join the family from the same country, or the person creates the account (in India or Turkey), and then invite others to join the family subscription, and these other persons can be in USA?

This is a dicey question that *no one* has an answer to. Google arbitrarily enforces the household rule. My sister and I share a legit acct and she travels often...no problems. I gave an acct to a friend across the country...within two months google cut them off from my YTP.

The ways that both people created their acts and how I invited them are more or less identical. I'm trying to isolate the variable that triggers the cancellation

You really need to stop making this personal and try contributing something insightful or just move to a new thread. Youre the only one LMAO-ing in this thread.

SD (and YT as well) is a hobby, and like all hobbies, we dont partake in it while "on the clock" Not everything we do needs to be part of our daily prostitution of labor for $. So yes, more than 45 seconds spent, but well spent. However, to everyone else here...as a hobby itself, YT is DRAMATICALLY enhanced without ads, but not when you have to hack the ads out everytime theres an API change or a tech-illiterate family member who is badgering you. The $1.50 or less really ads up.

For anyone on the fence about this, just do the YTP trial for 1-3 months, and see how you enjoy the service Youll see that you just cant go back to watching any other way.

I have had YTP since it was in YT Red pilot phase (when Cobra Kai season 1 was just released), and gladly pay them my $. Its both a hobby and an investment.

Does anyone know for how long the VPN method has been in use? I've seen posts going back to 2018, though I've yet to see any claiming that they had any issues with cancellation or account problems.
