Can anyone comment on the frequency of rebates/discounts for a set of Michelin tires? Looking to pick up a set of CrossClimate 2s before the winter.

$150 is the standard discount. $70 manufacturer's discount and $80 from costco for the installation fees.

can someone comment how often Costco runs $150 discount + $1 tire installation offer?

I got that offer when my sedan hit 50K miles few years back and I'm about to due new tires soon.

Not often, probably a couple times a year around holidays. Most of the other sales are $70-80 range and sometimes $120 off a set of 4

Are you sure they won't extend the current Bridgestone sale starting July 24? Prior to the current sale they had the $150 off Michelin for two consecutive months.

FYI, Price of the Michelin tires went up by at least $5 vs their previous monthly sale in June. Just checked with the X tours and Defenders for my Prius. Unsure if the price increase is temporary or permanent. Set of four out the door (X tours) a month ago was $452.88; with today's sale it is $472.88

Since this is only today it won't really help (4th of July) but at least at my Costco they were able to source the tires locally from a local distributor and offer the discounts and pricing they normally have - Only catch is I had to go into the store to get them ordered on the out of stock Pilot 4 AS

Isn't the discount tire sale much better than this one? You get both manufacture rebate and discount tire discount with that.
