They don't have a way to connect to each other, that makes them not up to code in VA. for my new place I'll just get those one that listen to the other alarms and report like the Ecolink zwave plus wireless audio detector

I bought a pack of four a couple years ago. Assuming the same model number, they drain the battery way too fast. You're going to be replacing your battery multiple times a year.

Worse: Costco (at least the one in Scottsdale, AZ) carried one with wired connection - *once*. Back in 2019 when I just moved here. I didn't need it then - since I was renting. I didn't even think that Costco would never again carry it. Such a bummer Frown
